Some basic safety rules that should Always be followed while at the field:
(1) All pilots will possess a current AMA license. (2) Pilots will not fly their aircraft behind the flight line. (3) Pilots will not fly past the south burm towards Jack Dalton Park. (4) Spectators or any other non-AMA licensed person will not be allowed past the shelter onto the flight line or pit area. (5) All pilots must possess the correct frequency pin and have their large tag hanging on the fence close to the shelter. (6) If a pilot turns on a radio that has the same frequency as a plane that is in the air causing a crash of that plane, the offending member will be held responsible. (7) Pilots are allowed only to assemble or repair their aircraft under the shelter; however, NO ONE will be Permitted to start or run any engine under the shelter; fuel powered or electric. (8) All engines will be started in the pits or on the field. (9) Aircraft that has been deemed unsafe by the safety officer or any officer of PHPRC will not be allowed to fly until the issue has been corrcted. (10) No more than (4) aircraft will permitted to fly at any one time.
Absolutly no alcoholic beverages are allowed; anyone having an open container OR appearing to be under the influence of alchohol at Patriot Field or any PHPRC function will be asked to leave at that time. In a circumstance that any one individual has been asked to leave any PHPRC event more than the one time, that person(s) will be banned from any and all PHPRC events and functions until further notice. PHPRC reserves the right to use any legal means needed to inforce this policy. Our hobby has no margin of error for recklessness.
